Idea Four: Disney investigates Disney

Disney+ should produce, release, and heavily promote a limited miniseries called Disney Investigates Disney. This show would dig into all the dark corners of Walt Disney himself. They should rigorously seek out all the evidence of anti-semitism and whatever else is back there. Misogyny, racism, whatever it is, get it out in the open now and have a real conversation about it. Have a real conversation about how we as humans can be happy in a sad world. How can we visit the happiest place on earth, knowing it was born, in part, of hate. And, whether or not the company is best served by keeping the name in the long run.

Who knows what such an investigation would turn up, but couldn't Disney demonstrate how every company in the world should behave. Couldn't Disney single-handedly raise the bar for corporate ethics? Disney can, and should, set a new standard for how we live by a basic code of integrity.
